Regrettably, the Piscataway Community Energy Aggregation program will be suspended as of October 2021, due to a significant lack of savings between the supply costs that eligible suppliers are able to provide versus PSE&G Basic Generation Service rates. For those Piscataway residents that are currently participating in Piscataway CEA, your account(s) will be returned to PSE&G service as of your October meter read, reflected on your November PSE&G bill. The letter below provides a brief description of the suspension and your available options. Impacted account holders should receive this letter during the first week of September 2021. Please visit this site in the future for any program status updates.
The letter from Mayor Wahler below was sent to all residential PSE&G account holders in the Township on February 20, 2020. Please click on the image below to open in a new window.
New program details will be posted on this site as they become available.
